AI Robotics – The Perfect Woman

Ok wow first of all whatever results from this post is just confusing and interesting as hell so prepare yourself.

Apparently, there is new A.I technology out there that has let engineers/scientists/programmers or what have you, create “the perfect woman”. Yes it’s a robot and it’s set for release to be purchased by anyone who can afford one (price still unannounced) on June 11th, 2008. You can take a look at it here:

Now the thing that boggles my mind is how BULLSHIT this whole thing sounds. It uses what they claim to be RKS or “Recognition Krax System” technology, which with a quick search on google provides absolutely no results to anything that isn’t directly linked to this product itself. You’d think such revolutionary technology that allows a robot to cook for you, clean for you and maintain intellectual conversation would have a LITTLE more publicity than this right? Especially with a release date not even 3 weeks away.

In fact in writing this i’ve come to the conclusion it 100% has to be a complete hoax, i mean seriously there are so many faults with it, i IMPLORE you to watch this video becuase it’s so hilariously shocking and is apparently a testimonial from a user:

Anyway with all the things making it so hard to believe, taking it from a hypothetical stand point that we’re quite certain it’s fake, there’s still one thing thats messing with my mind. And that is how they’ve gotten a human being to be able to look so robotic in its movements and facial expressions. This thing is too human to look robotic and too robotic to look human, it has to be one or the other though… but again with all that being said i still stick by the fact that this thing is a fake.

But then WHY!? (I’m going insane)

I’m definitely intruiged and i can’t wait to find out on June 11th, i don’t understand the point of all this. IF it is real which is looking 99.99% unimaginable in my eyes, then that’s some scary shit right there, their marketing campaigns seem like something out of a movie, and the thing itself is so creepy, all these horny rich bastards would buy it to have sex with because they can’t get their own human vadge monster to play with, come on it’s not that hard at all, sif resort to robots

Lupe set to collaborate with Justice

It was announced just one month ago on the UK MTV website that Justice would be remixing the whole of Lupe Fiasco’s “The Cool” album, and i don’t think I’ve even been in such a state of over-stimulation, deprivation and anticipation over something of it’s sort, i mean it is just a remix album, but HOT DANG!

It goes without saying what genius these two artists both exude but to have Justice actually remix The Cool, well, i think the potential is unbound. I’m so excited i just pee’d myself a little and I’m not going to change my underwear for the rest of the entire day.

Let’s hope neither of them have gotten ahead of themselves and it actually does drop. Either way, it looks like Lupe is doing big things i.e CRS, and i certainly don’t expect him to stop here. Even though he will only make 3 solo albums, other avenues are limitless. Pretty pumped for Lupend as well.

No but seriously the guy is amazing. I discovered his work a couple of years ago and the most credit i really gave it was to chuck a photo or two in my msn display picture, pretty pathetic of me. Here’s to sharing his awesomness via the interwebs! His first compilation artwork is entitled “Finest Elements” and can be seen on his myspace (i’ll post it at the bottom of this, a lot of his artwork is up there anyway, i URGE you to look at it). A Finest Elements 2 is in the making if i’m not mistaken as well.

I honestly think what’s more than awesome is he blatantly has unbridled talent, but the musicians he depicts are also fucking amazing, i mean he’s made caricatures of the likes of some of my obsessively favorite artists such as Flying Lotus, MF Doom (Madvillain), Waajeed etc. Obviously it seems to be all hip hop but he actually recently did one of DJ Mehdi, pretty slick. He should really make more collabs with some printing companies/designers to get more stuff onto clothes cos i’d buy the crap out of it without a question, i’m sure plenty more would as well.

Koshowko

They’re a band from Melbourne who describe themselves as playing Electro Dub/Syth Pop music. I discovered them a few months ago through myspace and i can easily say they are the very first band i’ve actually found to enjoy through a myspace discovery. Their music sends a vibe that stimulates all senses with their eclectic mash up of genres ranging from new wave to dub, ambient to electronica and synth pop to indie. They’ve played amongst plenty of great bands/dj’s including Check Yourself favourties, Yatch Club Dj’s. Good news is i just found out the next gig they’re playing is at Click Click on the 24th May so head the fuck down for an auditory orgasm.

Just when you thought it was all over Corey is once again making us cringe and this time even harder, with this i bring horrible news.
