Corey covers Beastie Boys

Just when you thought it was all over Corey is once again making us cringe and this time even harder, with this i bring horrible news. Corey Worthington – asshole party boy is about to ruin a great song, Beastie Boys – Fight For Your Right (To Party). The thing that bothers me is that the Beastie Boys publisher gave permission for them to release a cover by Corey, so while we all wait for this disaster to happen lets all take one last moment to listen to the song that is about to get destroyed.

Chocolade Haas

As a part of the “Big Art for Small People” projects, this short film, on the contrary to what you’d assume is intended for the entertainment of children.

So it’s pretty much the most dark and twisted short film i’ve ever seen, and seems COMPLETELY innocent upon face value. I can genuinely say that this film, (without exaggeration or any humor intended) shocked and me sickened me more than 2 Girls 1 Cup did. No shit. It’s really sad, i don’t know why, but that’s why it’s awesome.

The films title translates to Chocolate Hare and was made by Lernert Engelberts & Sander Plug for the above mentioned project as a compilation of short films. Music is accredited to Nathan Larson and is called “Aviva Pastoral”.

So powerful, i think it’s brilliant.

The name comes from the many wrong castles Mario has encountered on his quest to find the princess! The reason its linked to Mario is because the song sounds like a video game soundtrack.

The Fall

Wow.
I’ve only seen the trailer and i’m just reading up about it’s details and origins now, but what an amazing insight. “The Fall” is a new movie to be released to the silver screen in May of this year but has been around through film festivals all over the world since 2006. It looks quite the amazing, especially the cinematography and the vibrancy of it all. I hope the trailer lives up to what seem like amazing expectations.

Moby ♥’s Threadless.

Well most of you should have been on or at least heard of www.threadless.com, if not, it’s a website that sells t-shirts with hundreds of different designs that are uploaded by everyday people.

So many of the designs are absolutely awesome but what’s better is at the moment, musician Moby has actually teamed up with threadless and is running a competition with some wicked prizes. E.g. $2000 in cash, an ableton dj suite, framed and autographed “Last Night” album artwork, a full catalog of Moby albums, a $500 threadless gift certificate (which can be redeemed for $200 cash, i think thats pretty awesome of them) among some other stuff.

The theme to base the design on is “Last Night” so whether that be a personal thing or perhaps a design centered around his album, it’s up to you, as long as you stick to the theme of “Last Night”. I’m entering for shiz, it’ll be heaps of fun.

Just thought i’d quickly go through some stuff regarding updates and reposts. So as an update, the banner seems to be working fine and i’ve uploaded a smaller version of the gif so it should load faster for most of you.

Now to older stuff, remember the gold supra muska 14k skytops i posted about in which i said something regarding getting your hands on them as quick as possible since a second round just came through? Yeah well you probably won’t get them for a reasonable price anymore, they’re already selling out across many sites/stores and karmaloop just finished their second round.

Even though in the last post i said i don’t particularly warm to them i’m actually considering getting the Liberaces now, times are-a-changin, that keyboard design is crazy sick. How’s this for being insane in the membrane, remember the post regarding the Bodega Spy vs. Spy Pumas? Well i just came across a limited edition Grey pair on ebay and although i have absolutely no idea how many were made, check this auction out quickly before it finishes and see the price on these (overrated grey coloured) bad boys. The bid on them at the moment is US$455, the reserve is not yet met but the “buy it now” option is ONLY sitting at a swift US$1800. Who the hell has cash like that to spend?!?!

Finishing off quickly with two things, firstly the American Apparel store that James posted about, totally not as great as we expected, it’s got some tricks for the female department though, just close to jack shit for males unfortunately but things might change in future? Hope so. Secondly that Purple/Gold Shmack Presto Watch i posted about, yeah i’m totally buying it. It JUST sold out on karmaloop too, w00t.
